I fell in love with hot yoga in 2005 and fully committed to my practice in 2021, transforming my passion into something much greater. My love for music and social connection makes Sculpt my perfect fit—I use dynamic movements and curated playlists to create high-energy, rewarding classes. I’m grateful to be part of the Yoga Om community and am committed to providing a fun, inspiring, and challenging experience every time!

I’ve been teaching Kundalini Yoga and meditation for 8 years and practicing for 15. I first discovered yoga in the most unexpected place—at a Renaissance Festival! My teaching style is fun, energetic, and genuine, and my goal is to help students leave feeling refreshed, at peace, and with something they can carry into their daily lives. When I’m not teaching, I’m dancing and singing with my kids, working on my children’s TV show Mrs. Hewitt’s Home, catching movies with my husband, or exploring Disneyland.

I believe there is a type of exercise for everyone, and I have consistently returned to various modes of body movement-based exercise throughout my life. When I was young, I was a gymnast and then moved on to dance. Following my personal practice, I became a gymnastics instructor through my early 20s. Eventually, I connected with yoga after my daughter was born to help my body and mind recover. I have been practicing consistently since 2012, with a focus on vinyasa and power styles. As I looked for options to deepen my practice, Anusara’s focus on alignment appealed to me, so that is where I landed when choosing a certification program. The longer I practice, the more I truly believe that yoga is for every body and that there is something for everyone in yoga.

I have always loved to exercise and started practicing yoga in 2006 to gain strength and flexibility. It wasn’t until many years later, when going through a difficult time in my life, that I discovered the healing benefits of yoga that go beyond the physical body. My yoga journey has taught me mindfulness, self-compassion, self-trust and new ways to connect with my higher power and others. I wanted to share these life-changing experiences with others, so I completed my RYT-200 yoga teacher training in 2021. I am also a Physical Therapist, artist and avid runner. I love the safe, nurturing and personal space Ommy has created at Yoga Om and am so grateful to be here!

I first met yoga in 2010, when I was in graduate school majoring in clinical psychology. Since then yoga has been in my life. I had been practicing yoga here and there, though finally committed to deepening my yoga practice, so I joined 200h TT, and completed it in 2023. I also gained the Yin yoga teacher certificate in 2023. As a psychotherapist, I work with intense trauma clients everyday. Yoga practice helps me to balance my mental health and teaches me to connect my mind and body. I am currently on the 300h TT. I love growing as a human through yoga, and I am grateful for sharing this joy with as many as lives I encounter. Namaste.

I discover yoga in 2005 and found something precious that took me on a journey of my first yoga teacher training, 200hr RYT in Seattle. After a couple of years of teaching, I decided to go on a journey to Rishikesh, India for intensive 500hr teacher training. It did not stop there, the journey took me to more training: Vipassana, Traditional Hatha, and Ashtanga with amazing yogi masters from the heart of yoga in India.
I love teaching and inspiring students to blossom into their greatest selves, not only teaching but also learning along the way with them.

My yoga journey began 13 years ago, far from what I imagined a “yogi” to be. I didn’t like patchouli, preferred music with lyrics, and found meditation stressful. But I soon discovered that yoga is about calming the mind and creating space between thought and reaction, helping me break old patterns. Yoga taught me to stay focused and carry that clarity into everyday life, like staying calm in traffic. In 2014, I completed Baptiste-inspired Yoga Teacher Training at Be Luminous Yoga, Seattle. My classes blend Vinyasa, Anusara, Iyengar, and Power Yoga, emphasizing breath-led, alignment-based movement. My goal is to guide students to connect with their bodies, explore their edge, and live fully on and off the mat

I took my first yoga class in 2011 and for the first time in my life, I felt relief from my mind and anxiety. I’m drawn to meditation and energy healing and I find that yoga facilitates moving stagnant energy out of my body. I teach from deep in my heart where my practice lies.
My training is in vinyasa flow rooted in Ayurvedic study. I learned to work with the seasons and the energy’s within the body as we flow through postures. My classes are focused on meditation and balancing your energy while moving the body.
I’m grateful for all students who share their time with me in my class and look forward to watching you grow on your yoga journey. Namaste.

I practiced yoga on and off for years, but did not become a devoted yogi until 2017. With an MS diagnosis, I turned to yoga for mental well-being, improved balance and strength. My commitment to yoga inspired me to became a certified yoga teacher (Yoga Om RYS 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training). I love sharing the opportunity of spiritual and physical transformation that yoga can provide. Creating a welcoming space, offering challenging, energetic classes, and making yoga accessible for all is what I offer as an instructor.
I look forward to guiding you through practice. Namaste.

I love how yoga has been the one consistency in my life that I know I can depend on, whether it be for a great workout or a stress reliever. My name is Natalie and I'm excited to start this journey in teaching yoga. I was introduced to yoga 10years ago and I recently got my teaching certification through Yoga Om and had an amazing experience and guidance from my teachers. My journey through yoga has brought about healing, joy and growth into my practice and in my life. My goal is to hold a space for the individual so that their practice feels like it was meant for them, to find joy and self discovery connecting breath to movement and mind to breath. I am also a licensed massage therapist specializing in Swedish massage, which are long intentional strokes to support relaxation and blood flow in the body. I also use a variety of techniques to release tension, restore and realign the muscle tissue.

My experience as an instructor started back in 1991 when I became a swimming instructor at the Lakewood YMCA. That led me into becoming an Aerobic instructor, youth basketball coach and 12 plus years of swimming instructor for children of all levels. I spent over 21 years at our Pierce County YMCA facilities, then decided to make a change after my three children grew up. I left the YMCA and came across a hot yoga studio in Puyallup. I started practicing yoga in 2014 which impacted my life in such a positive way that I knew this would be a lifetime commitment for me. During my years of practice I had numerous instructors asking me to become certified.
In October 2019 I decided to take this passion I had for practicing yoga to the next level and become a certified yoga instructor. I teach Hatha, Sculpt and Fusion classes.
